New Issue Focuses on Smoking Cessation Programs

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) announces the September 28 issue of the Health Care Innovations Exchange.   The featured Innovations describe two programs that led to increased use of smoking cessation resources and higher quit rates. The featured QualityTools provide practical approaches for treating tobacco dependence in the clinical setting and for achieving tobacco-free hospitals and health systems.  More innovations and tools related to smoking cessation are available on the Innovations Exchange Web Site, which contains more than 650 searchable innovations and 1,625 searchable QualityTools.
