CAH Method II – Payment for Multiple Surgeries

On October 28, CMS issued a transmittal regarding clarifying payment for multiple surgeries in a Method II CAH effective April 2012. The article is based on Change Request (CR) 7587 which implements the multiple procedure payment reduction policy for CAH Method II providers.
