Nurses House is campaigning during Nurses Week to raise funds for nurses in need. It involves nurses selling gold and blue dolphins for $1 or $5 donations to raise funds for their colleagues. It can easily be worked into existing Nurses Week activities and is a great way to celebrate nurses!
Last year was the first year Nurses House ran this campaign and although they only had a few hospitals participate, they were able to raise over $17,000 and got national exposure with a sponsorship by Johnson & Johnson. They hope to get even more national exposure this year and really spread awareness about Nurses House while raising funds for nurses in need.
Nurses House is the only national 501(3)3 non-profit organization assisting registered professional nurses in need due to illness, injury, disability or other dire circumstance.
