Identifying Meaningful Outcome Measures for the Intensive Care Unit

As part of a Commonwealth Fund–supported study, researchers surveyed nearly 200 physicians about their views on nine outcome measures proposed for evaluating the quality and safety of care provided in hospital intensive care units (ICUs).
