This program will help nurses, physicians, administrators and attorneys gain a better understanding of what is Evidence Based Care, how it should be used by providers, what challenges are encountered when promoting evidence based practice, and what the potential risks are to providers who choose to ignore the evidence. This session will help those who work in and with healthcare providers gain a basic understanding of Evidence Based Care that they may not have learned in their training. It also provides a forum to discuss the importance of Evidence Based Care in this emerging era of healthcare reform and Accountable Care Organizations. The cost to register is $199.
