It’s National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day!
That’s right folks, it’s National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day today! In honor of PB&J Day, I wanted to remind all current and future CREATE grantees and applicants that CREATE cannot cover meals, banquets or per diem allowances for attendees or instructors. Please consider this in your application and in your financial planning for conferences, classes, and trainings. It might be a good idea to pack a peanut butter and jelly sandwich instead of relying on CREATE funds for this purpose.
Keep in mind, CREATE also does not fund the following course expenses:
· Vaccinations or personal protective equipment
· Background checks
· Meals including per diem allowance
· Uniforms and shoes
· Purchase or leasing of training equipment
· Stethoscopes, sphygmomanometers or other durable medical equipment
