The 340B drug pricing program provides significant savings to eligible health care providers that opt to participate. The ACA extended 340B program eligibility to Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs), Sole Community Hospitals (SCHs), free-standing cancer hospitals, and rural referral centers. HRSA’s Office of Pharmacy Affairs (OPA) requires all participating hospitals to recertify annually in order to ensure that hospitals’ contact information is correct and that hospitals remain compliant with program requirements. To discuss the recertification process and assist with technical questions, OPA will be hosting a webinar July 8, 2015 at 12 PM EST.
