This webinar will explore the need for, the design process and the outcomes of a project in 2011/2012 where a group of physicians and the hospital CEO re-designed the Medical Practice Council (MPC), a forum for employed physicians to discuss both clinical and organizational concerns. Through a series of facilitated sessions, the constituents established a new MPC purpose, structured decision-making process, a "compact" of mutual expectations and a collective vision that has laid the groundwork for better clinical care coordination and physician satisfaction with the sponsoring organization. The facilitator was involved 8 years earlier in the initial structural integration and has completed 20+ organizational integrations over the last 20 years.
