CMS Delays Medicaid RAC implementation

CMS has delayed the proposed April 1 deadline for states to implement their Medicaid RAC program, per a February 1 bulletin. States will not be required to implement their RAC program by the proposed implementation date of April 1, 2011 out of consideration for state operational issues and to ensure that states comply with the provisions of the final rule.
