Advisory Panel on Hospital Outpatient Payment

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that they will be accepting nominations for the "Advisory Panel on Hospital Outpatient Payment." The purpose of the panel is to advise the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services and the Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on the clinical integrity of the Ambulatory Payment Classification (APC) groups and their associated weights and supervision of hospital outpatient services. CMS will be taking submissions for nominees until November 21, 2014.
