The overarching goal of the symposium is to reduce mortality and morbidity for Colorado STEMI patients and to improve their overall quality of care. The symposium objectives are to: Address best practices for continuum of care for STEMI patients; identify the issues specific to rural communities and importance of promoting different solutions/protocols for rural vs. urban/suburban areas; utilize recommendations and best practices on a community level (no "one size fits all" solution); and apply concepts of establishing a STEMI system of care into your community.
